National Award for Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society has been awarded the National Award for Excellence by the Central Government. Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society was established in 1994. 33 percent reservation for women in Puducherry and Jammu and Kashmir Two bills were passed in the Lok Sabha to provide 33 per cent reservation for women in the Union Territories Assemblies of Puducherry and Jammu and Kashmir. Following the enactment of the 106th Amendment to the Constitution, provisions for reservation of seats for women in the Union Territory Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir should also be made by the Parliament by amending the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act-2019. Parliament should amend the Union Territory Governments Act-1963 to provide reservation for women in the Puducherry Union Territory Assembly.
