Startup Thiruvizha’ ‘Startup Thiruvizha’ is a two-day event organised by StartupTN in Coimbatore. The number of registered startups in the State in March 2021 was 2,300, and it stood at over 6,800 at present. Tamil Nadu is recognised as a startup leader by startup India. The State government gives seed fund (TANSEED) to start-ups. Start-ups Initiatives Vision of StartupTN - To make Tamil Nadu a Global Innovation Hub and the most preferred destination for Startups by 2023 TANSEED (Tamil Nadu Startup Seed Fund) – TANSEED 4.0 (2022) TN SC/ST Startup Fund – for startups run by entrepreneurs from the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe communities.
