The Haryana Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharmaannounced that the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved a proposal by Aseem Goel BJP MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly) from the Ambala City Constituency requested to change the name of the newly constructed Ambala city Bus stand as Sushma Swaraj (former Union Minister and BJP veteran) bus stand.
Government renames two Famous Institute after Sushma Swaraj
The Ministry of External Affairs, announced that two Institutions, The Pravasi Bharatiya Kendraand The Foregin Service Institute have been named after former Indian Diplomat Sushma Swaraj for her Invaluable contribution in Public Service. The announcement is being made on her 68th Birth Anniversary falling on February 14,2020. Key points: ThePravasiBharatiya Kendra a cultural centre, renamed as Sushma Swaraj Bhavanand The Foreign Service Institute where Diplomats are trained, changed into Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service. Sushma was the 1styoungest cabinet minister in the Haryana Government and she also the 1st woman Chief Minister of New Delhi as well as the 1st woman spokesperson for a National political party in India.
