Veteran diplomat T.S. Tirumurthy was appointed as India’s everlasting consultant to the United Nations. He at the moment serves as Secretary within the Ministry of Exterior Affairs. Tirumurthy, a 1985 batch Indian Overseas Service officer, will substitute Syed Akbaruddin in New York.
