Important Days International Day for Biological Diversity 
International Day for Biological Diversity is observed on May 22 every year. The day commemorates the adoption of the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992. Theme 2024 : Be Part of the Plan World Summits and Organisations World Hydrogen Summit 2024 World Hydrogen Summit 2024 was recently held in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The summit was organised by Sustainable Energy Council in partnership with Netherlands government. India has set up its pavilion at the summit for the first time. The pavilion was set up by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy. Note National Green Hydrogen Mission - January 2023. India aims to achieve a green hydrogen production capacity of 5 MMT (Million Metric Tonnes) by 2030. Guidelines for use of Green Hydrogen in steel, transport / mobility and shipping sectors. Hydrogen Valley Innovation Clusters to foster promote Green Hydrogen ecosystem.
