Merger of 2 profit making finance corporations
- The State government has ordered the merger of two profitmaking Non-Banking Financial Companies
- Tamil Nadu Power Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (TNPFC) under Energy Department.
- Tamil Nadu Transport Development Finance Corporation Limited (TDFC) under Transport Department.
- TNPFC and TDFC are brought under the control of the Finance Department.
