Special Intensive Revision (SIR)
- The Election Commission of India (ECI) launched the second phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
- It covers nine States and three Union Territories, involving around 51 crore voters.
- States: Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal
- Union Territories: Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Puducherry.
