About CALM-Brain
- CALM-Brain is an acronym for the ‘Comprehensive Data Repository on Brain Structure and Function in Psychiatric Disorders.’

- It has been jointly developed by NIMHANS, the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), and the Rohini Nilekani Centre for Brain and Mind.
- By utilizing large-scale datasets, it aims to improve the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders.
- It covers major conditions such as substance addiction, bipolar disorder, dementia, OCD, and schizophrenia.
- It seeks to identify biomarkers and biological mechanisms to facilitate early diagnosis and personalized treatment.
