National Farmers’ Day (Kisan Diwas) 2025
- Observed on December 23 to honour farmers and mark the birth anniversary of Chaudhary Charan Singh (1902–1987) (also known as “Champion of India’s Farmers”)
- He was India’s fifth Prime Minister (1979–1980). The day was officially declared in 2001.
