National Farmers’ Day (Kisan Diwas) 2025 Observed on December 23 to honour farmers and mark the birth anniversary of Chaudhary Charan Singh (1902–1987) (also known as “Champion of India’s Farmers”) He was India’s fifth Prime Minister (1979–1980). The day was officially declared in 2001.
