SOAR Project
- The Skill Framework for Artificial Intelligence Readiness (SOAR) project is designed to prepare India for a digital future by equipping students and educators from classes 6 to 12.
- SOAR is aligned with the Skill India Mission and Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 4.0 to enhance digital skills, AI literacy and employability.
- SOAR provides models for students and educators that focus on ethical AI applications and basic machine learning concepts.
- The Union Budget 2025-26 has allocated Rs 500 crore for setting up a Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence in Education.
