About the C-295 Aircraft The C-295 is a modern medium tactical transport aircraft designed for a wide range of military operations. It is a dependable and versatile platform capable of performing missions such as troop and cargo transport, maritime surveillance, airborne early warning, intelligence gathering, close air support, medical evacuation, and air-to-air refuelling. Features of the C-295 Aircraft The aircraft can remain airborne for up to 11 hours and is capable of operating in all weather conditions. The C-295 possesses excellent low-altitude flying capabilities and can undertake tactical missions at speeds as low as 110 knots. It is equipped with two turboprop engines. The aircraft has Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) capability, enabling operations from short and unprepared airstrips.
