Award Unmanned Autonomous Intelligent Vehicle Launched The National Institute of Ocean Resources Technology, Pallikaranai, has launched an unmanned autonomous intelligent vehicle and a deep-sea exploration device for deep-sea exploration. These new devices have been launched on the occasion of the 32nd foundation day of this institute, which operates under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India. A state-of-the-art research infrastructure has been developed at the seafront facility in Bamaji village, Andhra Pradesh. An innovative bridge called 'Dressal' has been constructed at the seafront to make it easy for vehicles to cross. A team led by scientist Vedhachalam has designed a deep-sea device called 'Matshaya 6000'. This device will go into the sea up to 6,000 meters deep and conduct research.
