International Transport Project Award Chennai Metro Rail Corporation has been awarded the International Transport Project Award. The Global Energy and Environment Organization has awarded the award for the best sustainable urban transport in the world. The award was presented to M.A. Siddique, Managing Director of Chennai Metro Rail Corporation, at the recently held Global Sustainable Development Summit 2025 in New Delhi. The award was given on the basis of the implementation of environmentally friendly activities.
