Special Medical Camp for Journalists Tamil Nadu State government launched a special medical camp for journalists on Saturday. The comprehensive health insurance scheme is now available for all accredited journalists, as announced by the Chief Minister in 2022. 1,414 journalists have been included on the list. The monthly pension for journalists was increased from ₹10,000 to ₹12,000. The assistance amount for the welfare of journalists was significantly increased from ₹3 lakh to ₹10 lakh.
