National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) Context: With the vision to strengthen the concept of "Sahakar se Samriddhi" (Prosperity through Cooperatives) in the fisheries sector, a National Workshop on Fisheries Cooperatives was organized in Hyderabad. Its aim is to strengthen the fisheries cooperative ecosystem and promote "cooperation among cooperatives" for the inclusive and sustainable development of fishing communities and rural economies. About the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) The National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) was established in the year 2006. It is registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Location: Hyderabad, Telangana. It is an autonomous organization under the administrative control of the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying. It works to enhance fish production and productivity in the country and to coordinate fisheries development in an integrated and holistic manner.   Mission Karmayogi Context : Union Minister Jitendra Singh has stated that the 'Mission Karmayogi' scheme is steadily progressing towards an administrative framework integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Minister noted that 'Mission Karmayogi' is advancing smoothly towards an AI-integrated governance model by converging skill development, capacity building, technology, and public service delivery. About Mission Karmayogi Mission Karmayogi is a new experiment in the direction of capacity building. Through this scheme, government employees must modernize their thinking and approach, and enhance their skills. This is to provide them with an opportunity to transform into a 'Karmayogi'. On September 2, 2020, the Government approved the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB). It comprises six core pillars: Policy Framework, Institutional Framework, Competency Framework, Digital Learning Framework (iGOT-Karmayogi), Electronic Human Resource Management System (e-HRMS), and Monitoring and Evaluation Framework.
