Thangaraj – Biological Sciences Pradeep Thalappil – Chemistry (IIT Madras) S. Venkata Mohan – Environmental Science Mahan Maharaj – Mathematics & Computer Science Vigyan Yuva Award – presented to 14 young scientists Jagadish Gupta – Agricultural Science Satyendra Kumar – Agricultural Science Valiur Rahman – Earth Sciences Sabyasachi Mukherjee – Mathematics & Computer Science Suresh Kumar – Medicine Mohanasankar Sivaprakasam – Technology & Innovation Vigyan Team Award The Vigyan Team Award was announced for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research's Aroma Mission team for promoting lavender cultivation in Jammu and Kashmir.
