Sports and Games New World Record Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin has set a new record of scoring 1000 runs and crossing 400 wickets in Test Cricket. Ashwin became the second fastest, only behind New Zealand Richard Hadlee to reach 3000 runs and over 400 wickets in Test cricket. Ravichandran Ashwin is the only player to achieve this feat after former Indian captain Kapil Dev. Kapil Dev, Shaun Pollock, Shane Warne and Richard Hadlee were the only 5 players who had achieved the record of 400 wickets and 3000 runs in Test matches. Ashwin has become the 6th person to achieve this feat.
