NOTE World smile day is celebrated since 1999. Awards & Honours Nobel Prize for Literature 2023 The Nobel Prize for Literature 2023 has been announced to Norway's famous writer Jan Fosse (64). Contribution - He has been given the honor for bringing out hitherto unspoken ideas through his wide range of writings ranging from plays, novels, poetry and children's books. Awarding Institution – Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences Cash Prize – The Nobel Prize for Literature carries a prize money of $1 million (roughly Rs. 8.32 crore) along with a gold medal and certificate. Presentation of Award – 10th December Note The Nobel Prize has been awarded since 1901 in honor of Swedish inventor Alfred Nobel (creator of the prize).
