Army’s Animal Contingent to Debut at Republic Day Parade Context: For the first time, the Indian Army will showcase a special animal contingent of the Remount & Veterinary Corps (RVC) at the Republic Day parade on Kartavya Path. The contingent highlights the critical role of animals in India’s military operations, especially in high-altitude and extreme terrains.
