General Science Nuzolvence (zoliflodacin) and Blujepa (gepotidacin) The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved two new oral medicines for the treatment of gonorrhoea - Nuzolvence (zoliflodacin) and Blujepa (gepotidacin). Gonorrhoea is a common sexually transmitted infection (STI). The World Health Organization (WHO) has classified the gonorrhoea-causing bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae as a “high-priority” pathogen.
