VISHWAS 2026 Context: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has launched VISHWAS 2026 to help resolve disputes related to damages and penalties in a simple and peaceful manner. About VISHWAS 2026 VISHWAS 2026 is a one-time dispute resolution scheme. It has been launched by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. The scheme aims to settle disputes related to the levy of damages and penalties under EPF laws through mutual agreement. Objectives To encourage voluntary compliance by employers. To reduce court cases and legal disputes. To ensure quick settlement of long-pending cases related to penalties and damages. To protect the interests of employees while resolving disputes. Key Features Gives employers a chance to settle eligible disputes. The process is transparent, fully digital, and time-bound. It helps in resolving disputes faster without lengthy litigation. Duration The VISHWAS 2026 scheme came into force on 29 June 2026. It will remain in operation for six months from the date of its notification.
