Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar President Droupadi Murmu conferred the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar on 20 children for their outstanding achievements. Veer Bal Diwas is observed annually to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh, the sons of Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Sikh Guru. Awards were given for excellence in bravery, social service, environment, sports, arts and culture, and science and technology. Vyoma Priya from Saravanampatti, Coimbatore district, received the Veer Bal Puraskar. Notable awardees include: Pragnika Vaka Lakshmi (7) – Chess Vaibhav Suryavanshi– Cricket Ajay Raj and Musu Madhu Sidhan – Bravery Shravan Singh (10) – who assisted the soldiers fighting for the country at the border near his home during Operation Dhinidhi Desinghu – Swimming
