About quantum lab A Quantum Lab is a highly specialized research facility where theoretical physics and engineering merge to develop technologies based on quantum mechanics Implementation The lab will be established under the Electronics and ICT Academic Project of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Semiverse Platform & Semiconductor Development Students at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur will get access to Semiverse by Lam Research. Semiverse is a virtual platform that helps students learn how semiconductor chips are designed and manufactured using 3D models and simulations. Students can study chip structures, understand manufacturing steps, and practice fabrication in a virtual environment. There is a high demand (over 1 million) for semiconductor design professionals, and India has the potential to meet this demand. Under the Chips to Startup (C2S) Programme, the Government provides advanced chip design tools to 300+ universities. Using these tools, more than 100 student-designed chips have been manufactured at Semiconductor Laboratory Mohali.
