Shyamji Krishna Varma He was born on October 4, 1857, in Mandvi. He was an Indian revolutionary, lawyer, and journalist. The Indian Home Rule Society was founded by Shyamji Krishna Varma in London in 1905 to promote revolutionary nationalism. In July 1905, he established the 'India House' organization in London and launched the journal 'The Indian Sociologist'. This served as a hub for Indian nationalist activities in Britain. He served as the first president of the Bombay Arya Samaj and was one of the mentors who inspired Vinayak Damodar Savarkar (Veer Savarkar). During the First World War, he moved to Paris and subsequently to Geneva, where he remained until his passing on March 30, 1930. A memorial named 'Kranti Teerth' was inaugurated in his honor in 2010.
