Tamil Nadu Land Use Information System (TiNAI)  Developed under the Tamil Nadu Innovative Initiatives Project with a sanction of ₹1.50 crore. Integrates 50 years of research and data from government departments and institutions. Uses modern Geographic Information Technology. Objective: Improve coordination among State government departments, corporates, and the public. India’s Longest Double Decker Viaduct India’s longest double decker viaduct to come up in Chennai. It comprising a six lane elevated highway on the lower deck and a metro corridor on the upper level has been proposed for 18.4km stretch  Environment Blue Flag certification Context: The Tamil Nadu government is upgrading Marina Beach infrastructure to meet international standards and secure the Blue Flag certification for multiple beaches. To achieve the Blue Flag eco-label awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), Denmark, which requires meeting 33 stringent criteria across water quality, environmental management, safety, and accessibility. Kovalam Beach in Tamil Nadu has already received the certification. Tamil Nadu Government Initiative Efforts underway to obtain Blue Flag certification for six beaches, including Marina and Thiruvanmiyur. Marina–Thiruvanmiyur stretch: World’s second-largest beach.
