UAE announces $30 - bn fund The UAE announced a $30billion commitment to an investment fund called ALTÉRRA. ALTÉRRA is the privately managed fund which aims to mobilise $250 billion globally by 2030. It will be used towards climate investments and transforming emerging markets and developing economies. ALTÉRRA will have four key priorities namely: Energy Transition Industrial Decarbonisation Sustainable Living Climate Technologies
