WHO's New Global Guideline on Fertility Care The WHO called on countries to make fertility care safer, fairer, and more affordable for all. This is First-ever global guideline on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infertility. The guideline includes 40 recommendations aimed at strengthening the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infertility. About World Health Organisation The WHO is the United Nation's specialized health agency and is mandated to coordinate the world's response to global health threats.  The International Health Conference held in New York in 1946 adopted the Constitution of WHO, which entered into force in 1948. WHO coordinates the world's response to health emergencies, promote well-being, prevent disease and expand access to health care. Membership: 194 member states grouped into 6 regions (Africa, Americas, Eastern Mediterranean, Europe, South-East Asia, and Western Pacific).
