‘Makkal Sevai’ (Public Service) Platform

  • Context: A dedicated app is set to be launched soon for the public to register complaints in the Perambur constituency, from where the Chief Minister was elected.

  • To strengthen the administrative mechanism for the speedy resolution of grievances.

  • Through the ‘Makkal Sevai’ platform, the public can directly bring their essential needs and grievances to the attention of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
  • New Initiative: A dedicated website named “Makkal Thalam” (People’s Platform) was launched.
  • Purpose: To provide a facility for the public to register and track government services, schemes, and grievances on a single platform.
