Annual Status of Education Report (ASER 2022) survey It was released by Pratham, a non-governmental organisation The ASER is a household survey conducted across 616 rural districts covering 6.9 lakh children in the age group 3 to 16 Aim: To record their schooling status and assess their basic reading and arithmetic skills Key Findings: Despite school closures during the pandemic, the overall enrolment figures for the 6 to 14 age group, increased from 97.2% in 2018 to 98.4% in 2022 Children’s basic literacy levels with their reading ability compared with numeracy skills is worsening much more sharply and dropping to pre2012 levels Asia’s 1st Hydrogen Mining Truck Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) signed a deal with Ashok Leyland, India, and Ballard Power, Canada to manufacture a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Trucks (FCET) for mining logistics and transportation purposes.
