Five men, whose daring act saved a woman from being abducted in Tiruvalluvar district last December, were among those who were awarded the Anna Medal for Gallantry, 2020, on the occasion of Republic Day in Chennai. The award includes a cheque for `1 lakh, a medal worth `5,000 and a certificate.
