Important Days  National Nutrition Week (Bharat Nutrition week) National Nutrition Week is observed every year from September 1 to September 7.  Objective - To raise awareness about the importance of nutrition for the human body and measures to eradicate hunger and malnourishment.  Theme 2023 – “Healthy Diet Going Affordable for All”. Note The Indian government has been conducting the National Nutrition week since 1982. Defence INS Mahendragiri INS Mahendragiri was commissioned by Sudesh Dhankher (Second Lady of India) at the Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders in Mumbai. Mahendragiri is Indian Navy's final and 7th stealth frigate constructed as part of Project 17A frigates.  It is named after a mountain peak in the eastern Ghats located in Odisha. About Project 17 Alpha Launch - 2019  To construct a series of stealth guided-missile frigates (total 7 ships).  Constructed by two companies  Four ships by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders (MDL), Mumbai.  Three ships by Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), Kolkata. Other Six  Nilgiri - 2019 Himgiri - 2020 Udaygiri - 2022 Dunagiri - 2022 Taragiri - 2022 Vindhyagiri – 2023 Awards and Honours 65th Ramon Magsaysay Award 2023 Surgical oncologist R. Ravi Kannan, Director of the Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (CCHRC) in Assam was selected as one of the Ramon Magsaysay award for 2023.
