About e-Jagriti Platform e-Jagriti is a flagship initiative of the Department of Consumer Affairs under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution. It was launched on 1 January 2025. The platform aims to make the consumer dispute redressal system faster, simpler, and more efficient across India. AI-Based Smart Search: Uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to search old consumer complaints, cases, and judgments through keywords and metadata. Voice-to-Text Feature: Uses AI and Machine Learning (ML) to convert judgments, case histories, and other records into text. Online Services: Enables consumers to file complaints, pay fees online, track case status, and access judgments digitally. Digital Consumer Justice: Helps digitize consumer commissions and provides citizens with easier access to legal remedies.
