India-Oman Free Trade Agreement The India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) was signed in Muscat, the capital of Oman, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq. As per the agreement, Oman grants complete tax exemption to 98% of goods exported from India. At the same time, India provides tax concessions to 77.79% of goods imported from Oman. This agreement is expected to come into effect in the first quarter of next year.
