INS Sagardhwani Context:  After successfully completing its mission with the Royal Malaysian Navy, INS Sagardhwani departed from Port Klang, Malaysia. This voyage focused on professional and scientific collaboration in the fields of hydrography, marine environmental research, and oceanographic technology. About INS Sagardhwani INS Sagardhwani is an advanced marine research vessel commissioned into the Navy in July 1994. It was designed for modern marine scientific studies. The name "Sagardhwani" translates to "Voice of the Ocean." It was chosen to reflect the vessel's marine research mission. The ship was designed by the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL) in Kochi and built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE). Current Facts Jharkhand is preparing to set up India’s first exclusive Human-Elephant Conflict (HEC) Research Centre at Palamu Tiger Reserve.  About Ebola Ebola is a serious and frequently fatal viral illness caused by a group of viruses called orthoebolaviruses, previously referred to as ebolavirus.  It is a highly infectious disease that affects both humans and non-human primates such as monkeys and chimpanzees.  The disease was first detected in 1976 in regions of southern Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo.  Ebola outbreaks mainly occur in remote areas of Central and West Africa.  It is classified as a hemorrhagic fever because the virus damages the body’s blood-clotting mechanism, which can result in internal bleeding due to leakage from small blood vessels.
