Virtual Tumour Boards (VTBs) for Cancer Care The Tamil Nadu Health Department will establish Virtual Tumour Boards (VTBs) in a hub-and-spoke model across tertiary care institutions and district hospitals. Purpose: To ensure specialist cancer opinions reach smaller or remote hospitals. To provide proper diagnosis, timely treatment, and standardised cancer care anywhere in the State. Institutional-level Tumour Boards, which provide treatment plans and suitable directions, are already functioning in several key centres. Third 'TN Rising Conclave' Tamil Nadu will host the 3rd TN Rising Conclave on November 25 in Coimbatore. The conclave will focus on key sectors including electronics, general manufacturing, textiles, and aerospace and defence. The event is the third regional investment summit (following Thoothukudi and Hosur), reinforcing the government's commitment to shifting the spotlight away from the capital city of Chennai.
