Wolf Prize 2025  Rajasthan-born theoretical physicist Jainendra K. Jain has been awarded the 2025 Wolf Prize in Physics. The award was presented by Israeli President Isaac Herzog at a ceremony in the Knesset, Jerusalem on 18 June 2026. He was honoured for the discovery of composite fermions, related to the fractional quantum Hall effect. Wolf Prize in Physics  Wolf Prize in Physics is an annual award given by the Wolf Foundation. It was established in 1978 and is among the most prestigious global physics awards. The prize can be shared by multiple winners in a single year.
