Guidance Tamil Nadu bags UN Promotion Award 2023

  • Guidance Tamil Nadu has received the prestigious United Nations Promotion Award 2023 for Excellence in Investment Promotion at the 8th World Investment Forum held in Abu Dhabi recently.
  • It received the award for excellence in scaling up energy transition investments.

69th National Film Awards

    • President Droupadi Murmu gave away the national film awards for 2021 under various categories at the 69th edition of the ceremony at New Delhi.
    • Feature and non-feature films certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) between January 1, 2021, and December 31, 2021, were eligible for National Film Awards 2021.

Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations

  • Arindam Bagchi has been appointed as the next Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations and other International Organisations in Geneva.
  • At present he is the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs.
