Important Days  International Day of Persons with Disabilities - December 3 The day is observed every year to spread awareness and mobilise support for the rights and well-being of people with disabilities globally. The day was first observed in 1992.  Theme 2023 : United in action to rescue and achieve the SDGs for, with and by persons with disabilities World Organisations – Pacts and Summits COP 28  COP 28 Summit is being held in Dubai from 30 November until 12 December 2023. The BASIC grouping of Brazil, India, South Africa and China has that the Global Stocktake should acount for the failures of the developed nation.  The Global Stocktake (GST) is a fundamental component of the Paris Agreement, which is used to monitor its implementation and evaluate the collective progress made in achieving the agreed goals.  BASIC grouping was formed in 2009 Sports and Games India’s third female Grand Master Vaishali became the third Indian woman to get the Grand Master title after Koneru Humpy and Dronavalli Harika.  She became the first woman Grand Master from Tamil Nadu
